Septic Inspections

septic inspectionsOur inspections start with a thorough examination of the septic tank baffle, accumulated solids, and effluent level. If there is a pump station then it will be inspected for functionality, electrical connections, and an alarm. Next, a fiber optic camera is used to inspect the piping of the leach field. Typically, a test hole is dug within the leach field to examine signs and symptoms of failure. During this time, approximately 50-80 gallons of water is run into the system to determine if it can accept liquid with out backing up. A written report details all the findings and explains their significance.
