CHES offers thorough mold detection and testing services. Mold testing may include taking air samples, surface samples, and samples taken inside wall cavities and ductwork. We use infrared imaging cameras to help locate problem areas that are otherwise hidden by various wall coverings to locate moisture problem areas. Mold can occur is any area where moisture is an issue, including within walls and around pipes. Moldy areas may be a factor in your home if you notice a frequent musty odor, have areas of high indoor humidity or areas of poor air ventilation such as in bathrooms or kitchens. Mold can seriously effect your health. Mold exposure can cause allergic reactions including skin and respiratory irritation, as well as worsen conditions associated with asthma or weakened immune systems. CHES will evaluate your home for mold and recommend effective steps for correcting any mold issues we discover.
